Meaghan "OCV" O'Connor-Vince
Meaghan O’Connor-Vince is currently in employed at Barnstable High School in Hyannis, Massachusetts, where she teaches Jazz Band, Music History: The Blues to Beyoncé, History of Hip-Hop and the Music Technology curriculum. In 2016, Meaghan graduated with her M.A. in Music Education through Teachers College’s Columbia University. She circulates the New England and Tri-State area, presenting and attending conferences. Meaghan was named a MusicFirst Ambassador, an educator who works with the company presenting at conferences, writing articles and lesson plans for the international company. Meaghan graduated from the University of Rhode Island in May 2013, with her B.M. in Music Education. At URI, she studied saxophone with Jared Sims in jazz and classical studies. In her free time Meaghan enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her husband, attending concerts, or enjoying the New England/Boston dominance in sports.
